Debra Nagy, baroque oboe

DNagy in action

Debra Nagy has been praised for her “dazzling technique and soulful expressiveness,” (Rocky Mountain News), and deemed “a baroque oboist of uncommon elegance” (Cleveland Plain Dealer). She frequently performs with baroque ensembles in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, New York, and Philadelphia, and is the founder of the Cleveland-based ensemble Les Délices, whose debut CD was named "One of the Top Ten Early Music Discoveries of 2009" by NPR's Harmonia.  Debra teaches Historical Performance Practices at Case Western Reserve University and received 2010 Creative Workforce Fellowship (a program of the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture, generously funded by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture).
