Sarah Stone | President and Executive Director
Cello/Viola da Gamba; Board President (joined the board in 2023) and Executive Director of Repast. Sarah regularly performs with The Sebastians, Trinity Baroque Orchestra, Seraphic Fire, Washington National Cathedral, Apollo’s Fire, and Baroque Music Montana.
Tim Kahler | Treasurer and Secretary
Repast board member since 2010 and currently acting as Treasurer and Secretary. He is a sole practitioner attorney based in Larchmont, New York and is licensed as an attorney in New York State and Washington State.
Ann Allen-Ryan | Audience Development and Fundraising
Repast board member since 2015. Ms. Allen-Ryan retired after 30 years as a hospital administrator in Brooklyn and Queens and was President of The Wednesday Music Club of Brooklyn Heights, a 135-year-old organization devoted to musical performance in the homes of its members.
Gabe Shuford | Ensemble Representative
Harpsichord, Ensemble Representative, and board member (joined the board in 2023). Gabe performs throughout North America and abroad, and has been a frequent guest with A Far Cry and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
Rita I. Schwartz | Community Outreach
Repast board member since in 2018. A long-time resident of Brooklyn with a diverse professional career in government and women’s political issues, she has continued to be involved in music, both as a pianist and harpsichordist, sings in community choirs, and is a trustee of the Potsdam College Foundation, Inc. for over 25 years.
Susan Fine | General Assistance
Repast board member since 2023. Sue is a long-time resident of the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and is a life-long music appreciator and amateur musical aspirant with a Ph.D. in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She works as a psychotherapist and has also helped to lead several New York City and national education non-profit organizations.
Martha Foley | General Assistance
Repast board member since 2023 and has been a volunteer for Repast for over five years. Martha is the president of the Wednesday Music Club of Brooklyn Heights and a long-time volunteer at the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange, as well as vice president of the Brooklyn Heights Garden Club. A professional archivist-historian for over 30 years, Martha has worked on public and private collections in New York City.
Lynn Hallarman | General Assistance
Repast board member since 2023. Lynn Hallarman, MD served as the director of palliative medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York. She now works as a health policy and educational consultant for the National Center for Equitable Care for Elders at Harvard University and as a medical & arts freelance journalist.
